I know that every Christian I have ever had contact with has problems with this... Trusting God.
Trusting God is one of the main things of being a Christian. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins. Through this Jesus offers us the free give of Eternal Life. It's not something we can ever earn. Jesus paid the price. Trusting in God that this is all we need to get into Heaven is hard.
Recently God and I had a talk. Yeah i know... most people don't really understand this, but we actually had words in my head. Yep, I could have been talking to myself, but I wasn't. God revealed several things to me.
1) If I want to lose weight I have to do something about it. DUH! ;-)
2) By trusting in Him the plans that He has for Pam and I will be able to be done.
Pam and I have had a feeling for a while that God has big plans for us. What they are we aren't sure, but as we (maybe I should say I ) trust in God more and spend more time getting God into ourselves we'll know what He wants for us.
Love God with all your being and do everything as to his Glory.
